The Power of “Power of Attorney”

A Power of Attorney comes in to play at a point in life that can be challenging for all involved.

The document is one way of being legally authorised to manage the money and property or health and welfare of a person when they lose the mental ability to do so personally.

In the early days of the Covid-19 lockdown, Raindog Production and the Dementia Services Development Trust brought together a group of writers and actors to collaborate to tell the unfolding story of what was happening to people with dementia in care homes, and how this was affecting their families, and the care home staff. The story is still worth telling today.
