PLANNING AHEAD

Everyone needs Power of Attorney

This year on Carer’s Rights Day, we launched the Planning Ahead campaign, a new Power of Attorney initiative which encourages all of us to think about the future and to start open, honest conversations with the people we trust.

Planning ahead isn’t only for older people or those living with illness. It’s for everyone. By understanding why a Power of Attorney matters, we can ensure that those closest to us are legally able to support us, if there ever comes a time when we cannot make decisions ourselves.

From guidance, resources and even a list of suggested Scottish law firms to work with, check out our Planning Ahead campaign and book your appointment to ensure your Power of Attorney is organised before a crisis hits.
